The rejuvenation of OCBC Campus at Tanjong Pagar aims to spark a cultural change within the learning culture of the bank, through the application of the 10 Learning Principles previously envisioned within the OCBC Learning Blueprint. Centered around key philosophies of Autonomy, Relatedness to place and people and lastly being a part of a community with the mindset of 'Better Me/Better Us'.
Through a combination of spatial touch points, design nudges, cultural communications and programming shifts, an autonomous and collaborative mindset is prioritised. Learners are encouraged to use its resource and facilities, seamlessly integrating work, meet, teach and learn during their time at OCBC Campus.

Simple and effective wins includes a new and open pantry for all learners, easily accessed and a natural node for building new relationships. Open accessed 'Leader's Bookshelf' provide a quick insight into the minds of the leaders within the bank, showcasing their recommended reads. Meeting rooms and hot desks are also available by default, providing a dependable default workplace away from the formal office.
This encourages the vision of Campus as a creative and nurturing environment within the OCBC ecosystem, moving towards alignment with OCBC’s Sustainability Governance Pillars.
The Campus rejuvenation project also encompasses a research aspect which aims to examine and validate the cultural shifts brought about by these design implementations, with these findings informing how OCBC can think about future spaces in the context of its focus on people and community.
